Due to the weather conditions that have persisted since the storm systems arrived in the Seattle area last week, operations concerning the Toys for Tots program have been hampered. Toy pick-ups from several drop-off locations have been delayed.

Toy pick-ups are continuing and every effort will be made to complete the toy pick-ups prior to Christmas within the boundaries of safety and sound judgment.

Despite the weather conditions and a slow economy, this year's program was able to provide thousands of toys to needy families throughout the King County area. Thanks to all those who have helped to make this a successful year despite these obstacles.

Please be assured that all donations will continue to serve the needy children here in King County. We will work with local organizations to ensure that toys end up in the hands of local children and the joy of the season will prevail regardless of the weather.
