Frequently Asked Questions

These questions and answers are meant to aid you in communicating and working with the Puget Sound Toys for Tots program and its volunteers.

When is the cut-off for donations?

We are always accepting toys for children. However, we would like to have the bulk of donations in by 11 December.  We will begin distributing the toys on 14 December and finish by 18 December.

My company wants to collect toys. Will someone be able to pick them up?

Due to the overwhelming demand of businesses wanting to support the Toys for Tots program, we can not guarantee a date or time when your toys will be picked up.  We are asking everyone who collects toys to deliver them to our warehouse in Auburn, or to a few storage units in the Seattle area.  The exact address will be published soon.

Is there a list of drop-off locations?

We are currently putting together a list of all the drop-off locations throughout King County.  Check back soon for a detailed list.

What type of toys can I donate?

New, unwrapped toys may be dropped off at any one of our many locations throughout King County.  Just look for the Toys for Tots poster displayed in the window.

How can I (or my organization) register to receive toys?

Due to current economic conditions, and in an effort to ensure that needy children in King County receive a toy for Christmas, we have decided to partner with the Department of Health and Human Services to distribute toys this year.
